A Primitive Place Show: Travel & Lodging
Are you traveling from a distance?
If you're flying in for the show, the best airport is Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo, North Dakota. From the airport, it is approximately a 50-minute drive south to the show at our property in Wahpeton.
To make planning your trip easier, we've included recommendations below for antique shops to visit, things to do, places to stay, and places to eat while you're in the area.
And don't let flying keep you from shopping! If you purchase smaller antiques at the show, we can try to help arrange shipping on-site so your finds can be sent home.
Another option we've personally used is traveling with a large, sturdy tote as checked luggage. Carefully wrap and secure your purchases inside the tote, and it can generally be checked with the airline just as you would a suitcase, subject to the airline's baggage size, weight, and fee requirements. Be sure to package fragile items especially well and check your airline's current baggage policies before traveling.
