We love putting pieces into the hands of fellow collectors, and there are several ways to shop with us in person! 

1. Visit Our Antique Barn

📍 Wahpeton, North Dakota

Our expanded antique barn is now our primary location for shopping A Primitive Place antiques in person. With additional usable space in the barn, we’re able to offer an even larger selection of primitives, early country antiques, furniture, smalls, and other finds.

The barn is open seasonally, approximately early to mid-May through the end of October.

Throughout the season, we hold select barn sales, when the barn is filled and open for everyone to shop. Dates and details are announced through our newsletter and social media.

Want to visit between barn sales? The barn is also available to shop by appointment. Contact us ahead of time to arrange a day and time to visit.

2. Attend Our Annual Antique Show

Each September, we host A Primitive Place: Vintage, Antiques, Primitives & Handmade Goods Show in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Held annually on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, the show brings together antique dealers, primitive and early country antiques, vintage finds, handmade goods, and more.

A Primitive Place brings a large selection of antiques to the show each year. Watch our website, newsletter, and social media for upcoming show details.

Expect primitives, vintage, and handmade goods, live country, gospel, and bluegrass music, Civil War re-enactors, antique education, wine, coffee, and more. It's a full-day experience like no other you’ll find in the Midwest!
