Start a Subscription with This Issue! It has been said that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. We all believe this to be true, but how many of us seem to find living in the moment of Christmas and enjoying the joyous season a challenge? I think some of us spend so much time trying to make sure that our families enjoy the traditions of the season that we forget about ourselves. We forget that to make merriment, we need to be merry. We forget that the best way to find that Christmas feeling is to practice gratitude and to live in the moment. We must all try our best to enjoy each minute of the season and stop rushing around. I know that is easier said than done, but if we can slow down and let the distractions that interrupt us fade away, we will see that we can find comfort and joy in each day of the Christmas season.
Speaking of comfort and joy, inside this issue you will be invited to spend Christmas within the walls of five wonderful primitive/colonial homes. Each home is perfectly decorated with the holiday items that each homeowner has carefully acquired and thoughtfully displayed. While the halls of these homes have been decked out for Christmas, the antiques and early collections still shine through and make each house a must see for every season of the year.
All of us at A Primitive Place hope that you enjoy this issue, and we hope that it will inspire you to enjoy your home a little more during this holiday season. As another year quickly comes to an end, I am reminded of all that I have to be grateful for, and each of you makes that list. Without you, I could not do the job I love, and I could not visit with so many of you along the way. Thank you so much for all the support and encouragement that you continue to give me. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. I hope all of you and your families have a very merry Christmas and a peaceful 2025!
With love and gratitude,
